Family is at the heart of what we do. The company is run by Dave Wells and his son Steve and many of our staff have been here since the early days.

25 years ago Dave bought his first rental property – a tiny cottage in Poole. Today DWP owns more than 500 properties throughout Dorset and Hampshire and houses over 2,400 tenants.

We employ 45 members of staff, including drivers, tradesmen and office workers.

We take our social responsibilities seriously and are constantly renovating and improving our housing stock to make sure people of all incomes have somewhere pleasant to live or work. We’re also building new homes – with a further 200 under construction at the moment.

Many of those new-builds are family homes with gardens.

Dave Wells is a member of the Dorset Residential Landlords Association (DRLA) and takes part in a rent deposit scheme run by the DRLA and the Rent Service.

We are also members of the Borough of Poole Accreditation Scheme.

At the heart of our community: DWP was proud to sponsor Bournemouth's recent Hero of the Year Awards. We also support initiatives to improve community cohesion and are a supporter of the charity Waggy Tails Dog Rescue.
